Terms & Conditions
- General Requirements
- Google Account Sign-In: A valid Google Account is required for verification and completion of the booking form.
- Eligibility: Only registered Sarit tenants/brands are eligible to participate.
- Single Brand Policy: Each booth represents one brand only. Bookings are strictly non-transferable. Once confirmed, the brand name is removed from the availability list.
- Internal Coordination: Tenants must ensure internal approval and alignment before submitting bookings to avoid duplications or miscommunication.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Sarit Management and the participating tenant, superseding all prior discussions, communications, or understandings.
- Booth Pricing & Allocation
- Pricing: KES 30,517+ VAT per 3m x 3m booth for the event period.
The fee includes standard booth setup, one table, three maroon chairs, and power supply. - Event Duration:
Setup: 3rd June 2026 (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Trading Days: 4th – 7th June 2026
Set-down: 8th June 2026 (from 7:00 AM) - Trading Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM daily.
- Space Allocation: Booths will be allocated strictly on a First Come, First Served basis, subject to submission of the completed booking form and full payment.
- Confirmation Deadline: All bookings and full payments must be completed by 31st March 2026 at 5:00 PM.
- Additional Requirements:
Any additional furniture or accessories (e.g., spotlights, shelves, lockable cabinets, extra chairs/tables) will incur additional charges.
- Mandatory Recce & Compliance
- Recce Meeting: A compulsory site visit will be held on 28th May 2026 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Sarit Expo Centre at the foyer.
- Discount Policy: All products/services must be sold at discounted prices. Before-and-after prices must be clearly displayed.
- Compliance: Tenants must comply with:
- Sarit event policies and branding guidelines.
- Health, safety, and fire regulations.
- All applicable Kenyan laws and statutory requirements.
- Any directions issued by Sarit management before or during the event.
- Marketing & Promotion
- Tenant Promotion: Tenants must actively promote their participation using official Sarit marketing templates from 15th May – 7th June 2026.
- Brand Guidelines: Booth setups, signage, and promotional materials must align with Sarit branding and aesthetic standards.
- Post-Event Feedback: Tenants are required to complete a post-event survey or provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Retail & Operational Requirements
- Stock Management: Tenants must maintain adequate stock levels throughout the 4-day sale period to meet shopper demand.
- Booth Presentation: Booths must remain clean, visually appealing, and fully staffed during trading hours.
- Customer Service: All booth staff must demonstrate professional and courteous conduct at all times.
- Liability, Insurance & Indemnity
- Tenant Responsibility: Sarit Management shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or pricing errors related to tenant merchandise or property. Tenants are advised to secure their merchandise appropriately.
- Insurance: Tenants are strongly advised to obtain adequate insurance for merchandise, equipment, and liability for the duration of the event.
- Indemnity: The tenant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sarit Management, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from participation in the event.
- Cancellation, Termination & Penalties
- Payment Deadline:
If full payment for the booking is not received on or before 31st March 2026, the booking shall automatically lapse without further notice. Upon lapse, the space shall be released and may be allocated to other tenants or third parties at the sole discretion of Sarit Management. No reservation of space shall be deemed confirmed until full payment has been received and acknowledged in writing. - Cancellation Deadline:
- Cancellations made after 31st March 2026 will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the booth rental value.
- No refunds will be processed for cancellations made after 30th April 2026.
- Termination by Sarit Management: Sarit Management reserves the right to terminate participation without refund in cases of:
- Misrepresentation or breach of these Terms & Conditions.
- Failure to comply with the discount policy.
- Misconduct by the tenant or its representatives.
- No-Show Policy: Failure to set up or trade during the event will result in forfeiture of all fees and may affect eligibility for future Sarit events.
- Force Majeure
Sarit Management shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, labor disputes, pandemics, or other unforeseen events. - Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising under these Terms & Conditions shall first be resolved amicably through negotiation. Failing resolution, the matter shall be referred to arbitration in Nairobi under the Arbitration Act of Kenya.
- Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
